Putting a nursery together is always a fun and exciting job, and also helps to make the time seem to go faster. I have been especially anxious with this pregnancy, because our last baby was a stillborn and I worry about every aspect of this pregnancy. This was the first time I have been able to really design my dream nursery. With my other babies, we never had a room that was just the nursery, or we were renting and couldn't really make permanent changes to the room. All of these things made designing and decorating this nursery very exciting, to prepare for this little one to come. My style tends to lean towards the feminine side, so designing for a boy was a little more of a challenge. I decided to go with an elegant pooh bear theme, mostly because I have always loved Winnie the Pooh, and I love many of the cute quotes. I tend to stay away from things that are too themed, so I brought the concepts in through art that features simple sketches, plush Winnie the Pooh animals, Christopher Robin boots, and with the cloud mobile (I'm just a little black rain cloud). I wanted this room to be a tranquil place to enjoy with my baby, where we can escape the chaos that happens when you have other children! I hope you love it as much as I do!
