Valentine’s Gift Ideas for Kids

Posted by Sarah Jones on

Valentine’s Day has always been one of my favorite holidays as a parent for giving my little ones a little something to say “I love you!” The best part about gifting for this holiday is that they aren’t expecting anything, so the pressure is off, and no matter what I come up with, they are surprised and happy with just about anything!

So, no matter if you go all out or keep things simple for your kids on Valentine’s Day, there are tons of fun and easy ideas for showing them some love!  Some years I am more generous than others, but any of the items on the list below can be combined or given solo with a nice little card and their favorite candy and voila! You win an awesome parent award for the day!

Here are some of my favorite (and easiest!) ideas this year:

FESTIVE CLOTHING

There are tons and tons of darling options out there for boys, girls, toddlers, big kids, and babies in the Valentine variety! The best part about these digs is that even after the holiday, they can still be worn without looking holiday-only appropriate.

The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein -A classic tale of unconditional love.

Love Monster by Rachel Bright -In the blink of an eye, a googly eyed monster finds love where he least expects it.
