We have mostly everything for the nursery, we just need to set it up! We are converting our current office to our nursery, so we need to move out the furniture in there and rearrange it in another room. Our art from Minted came this week and we are loving it!

Jack Johnson once sung, "...I was sittin', waitin', wishin' the rest of my nursery furniture would get here..." No? He didn't sing that one? Oh...Ok but seriously the cargo ship with our glider and dresser on it needs to put those engines on overdrive and get here ASAP. I can't hang anything up until I have all my big pieces in their proper place! All of the gorgeous pieces are leaned up against the wall waiting to get hung.

Unfortunately we got the horrible news this week that we miscarried again. We were excited to share our pregnancy announcement when our nursery is revealed, but it seems like that is just not the hand we were dealt this time around. After my D&C procedure I had a week off, so I was able to find the time to put up the Urban Walls decals, and they look supurb. We did however, get some good news that our custom pieces by Nak On Wood were completed. They made us a side table and a picture frame for our Minted art. The Nakamura Brothers create custom handmade, recycled/reclaimed homegoods and furniture. Check out their Instagram @nakonwood you will not be disappointed.

This week had some pretty low lows, and a couple good highs. We are keeping our heads up and are still excited to complete our nursery. It is our favorite room in the house now that it is starting to take shape. Cheers all, have a good week!

I ordered this cute pouf from Joss and Main for the nursery and I am in love with it! It goes perfectly with the rug. I just love how soft and cushy it is, which is exactly what you want in a nursery. The hardest part was picking out what color to get because they have so many cute colors! Right now the nursery has kind of been a waiting game. I am definitely better at checking my mail these days with all the fun stuff coming. I am really excited for the glider to come because then I can really finalize placement of all the big furniture. I have some more little DIY projects that should be fun to do. The end is coming and I just can't wait to show you guys the whole room!

We've been getting this cozy corner ready for our glider and ottoman. I'm looking forward to late nights and snuggling with my newest little one here. The lamp shade from Minted proved to be the perfect blush pink and the photo frame shelves from Rehoboth Farm are very well built. I lucked out and already had this copper side table (score from TJ Maxx a couple years ago) to perfectly coordinate with the nursery. Copper frames are tough to find, but nothing a can of spray paint can't fix!
