Last Nursery update! I can't believe the challenge ends next week, I am almost completely finished with the nursery and I can't wait to show you guys the final product. This week my glider from Wayfair came and I am in love with it! If you guys are looking for gliders check out Wayfair because I loved everything that they had, and it was hard for me to pick between so many amazing products. The thing that I love most about the nursery that I designed, was the fact that it didn't cost very much to put together so the design of the nursery will be easy for other people to re-create. Another thing that I have enjoyed making was the reading corner. I believe every child should be read to, and they should learn to love books from an early age. I can't wait to show you guys the accent wall with decals from urban walls, my gallery wall with art from minted, and my cute gold accent decor. Stay tuned for the final reveal! I hope you are all as excited as I am about it!

Hi guys !!! I can't believe we are so close now to all having our rooms done . I have to admit it's a little crazy to think that soon I will be in this room with little Landon in my arms . This process has been a lot more difficult then the first time around as I had much more time on my hands not having a toddler already and being pregnant again etc . I am really getting so excited now though to be able to share soon with you all this peaceful beachy inspired room. Every Time I'm in the nursery now I feel relaxed and that's exactly what I'm hoping Landon feels too. We only have a few things left to do until it's a wrap one being this awesome gallery wall of pictures from www.reneehollingshead.com . They are the perfect pieces to tying in my California roots and really creating that beach vibe. I hope you all have been enjoying he updates from Landon's room and are just as excited as myself to see the final project !!!!!!

WOW! Has it really already been 9 weeks since we started this process?! Time sure has flown by and I am so happy to have these memories to look back on one day.

We are OFFICIALLY done with Maverick’s nursery! Yup, you read that right, all the paint has been touched up, all pictures are hung and the crib is just waiting for a precious little babe to grace it’s presence – the REAL countdown has begun! 6 more weeks till we get to meet our sweet boy! I am so grateful for all my husband’s help during this process and that we were able to finish everything early, as my doctor has advised that I take it easy. The beginning of our pregnancy was a bit scary, as noted in my bio, and while we thought we were in the clear, that is never the case. My doctor is taking every precaution as Maverick is measuring on the small side and I am having some placental issues. This means I will have weekly NST monitoring and ultrasounds and must be diligent with my daily kick counts. The reassurance is great, however, it is incredibly unnerving – the unknown always gets me. I find myself at peace the most in Maverick’s room, sitting in the rocker rubbing my belly and talking to my little guy telling him to grow big and strong for mommy and daddy. He doesn’t hesitate to give me several strong jabs to ensure he is going to be just fine – No doubt, this little boy will be our GREATEST adventure J

We want to thank everyone at Oilo for this opportunity and for allowing us to be a part of such a fun design challenge. This is an incredibly bittersweet time and we are so grateful to be able to share it with the public. My husband and I enjoyed every minute of the process, and seeing our design board come to life was truly gratifying. Our hope is that we are able to inspire other parents-to-be to have fun with their nursery and think outside the box when it comes to design.
